Purpose:

This program is designed for the student who desires to become a skilled quality control inspector and machinist trainee. Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to verify precision manufactured parts meeting engineering blueprints and standards. This program is G3 Eligible.

Admissions Requirements:

Individuals are eligible for admission to CVCC if they are high school graduates or the equivalent, or if they are eighteen years of age or older and able to benefit academically from study at the community college, as demonstrated by assessment in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Program Requirements:

All students expected to complete the requirements for a degree, diploma, certificate, or career studies certificate must complete an Application for Graduation.

1 Students whose placement scores qualify for placement in MTH 131 , MTH 154  or MTH 161  are encouraged to take these higher sequences in lieu of MTH 111 .
2 Students whose placement scores qualify for placement in ENG 111  are encouraged to take ENG 111  in lieu of ENG 100 .
