Purpose:
This Career Studies Certificate program is designed to prepare individuals for employment in environments where the care and education of young children is the primary focus.
This program is G3 Eligible.
Occupational Objectives
Employment opportunities include positions in early childhood education programs including Head Start and Early Head Start, family childcare homes, private childcare centers and public preschool programs.
Credit for Prior Learning

Admissions Requirements:
Students are required to meet the general admission requirements of the College. Entry to the Early Childhood Development Career Studies Certificate Program requires proficiency in high school English. Students with an English deficiency must successfully complete the appropriate developmental English course(s)
Program Requirements:
All students expected to complete the requirements for a degree, diploma, certificate, or career studies certificate must complete an Application for Graduation.
