Purpose:
This program is designed for the student who desires basic skills in heating and air conditioning. Upon completion of this program, the student will gain a level of competence for an entry-level installer or service assistant. This program is intended for dual enrolled students.
Courses in this program fulfill requirements for the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning CSC. The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Fundamentals Career Studies Certificate program alone is NOT eligible for financial aid. Interested students should consult a counselor for further information.
Admissions Requirements:
Individuals are eligible for admission to CVCC if they are high school graduates or the equivalent, or if they are eighteen years of age or older and able to benefit academically from study at the community college, as demonstrated by assessment in reading, writing, and mathematics.
Program Requirements:
All students expected to complete the requirements for a degree, diploma, certificate, or career studies certificate must complete an Application for Graduation.
