Local Advisory Board

The Central Virginia Community College Board shall perform such duties with respect to the operation of a community college as may be delegated to it by the State Board. In general, the College Board is responsible for assuring that the community college is responsive to the needs existing within its service region and within the statewide policies, procedures, and regulations of the State Board.
 

Regular Scheduled Meetings of the Local Advisory Board

All Board meetings begin at 4 p.m. for Standing Committees with regular meetings beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the President's Conference Room (1114) of the CVCC Campus. 

Speakers must notify the Chairman at least thirty minutes prior to the beginning of the meeting of their intention to address the Board and the topic of their comments.
